Left at 12:20 and got the 127 bus to Mitcham library and then got the 280 to the ground. Got to the ground at 13:10 and started selling programmes at the Gander Green Lane end. Finished selling about 10 mins after the KO and went to get food and drink with Dad. Stood on the terrace in the 1st half. Tranmere took the lead on about 15 mins with a cracking free kick into the top corner. They were dominating the game and moved the ball around very well and we were chasing shadows in the 1st 15 mins of the game. We then equalised on about 30 mins through a header by Kenny Davis. The ball was headed back across the box from Collins where Davis tucked it away from close range. We then had a fair share of the ball and started to push for a 2nd goal but couldn't find it and dead on half time Tranmere re-took the league with a nice volley into the bottom corner but I reckon we could have closed down much quicker. 2nd half we had the majority of the ball but lacked quality in the final third and continued to lump balls forward only for them to be headed back by the Tranmere defence. Walton was a stand out in terms of poor performance and was constantly giving away the ball. Tranmere scored their 3rd on the 90th minute after we committed everybody forward to find a equaliser and were left short at the back. Tranmere were the better side quality wise and will make the play offs in my opinion and possible challenge for the league if they keep their run going. Got the 17:10 train back from West Sutton to Tooting and walked back home, getting home at about 17:45.
