To make sure I Didn''t miss out on a game on the Saturday - having to go to a Christening in Sheffield, it made sense to go to a local game - however I had already been to Bramall Lane, Hillsborough & New York Stadium, so Pirelli Stadium it was Catching the Train with my Father in Law Trevor we travelled the 50 minute journey from Sheffield to Burton-On-Trent talking to a Gillingham fan along the way. Having already been to visit the Pirelli on a tour way in back 2009 I knew the way - one long road to reach the ground, sadly the weather was awful and we both got soaked. By the time we reached the ground we had just about dried off and a Pint of Carling was needed after getting tickets for the Home end (standing terrace). Taking our place in the ground Burton won 3-2 against already Champions Gillingham - this also meant Burton would be playing Bradford City in the Playoffs due to them finishing 4th in the League. Left the ground a few minutes early to make sure we made it back for 5.25pm train back to Sheffield Good day out apart from the crushing against the barriers - not nice & the intially weather
