Comments :
Left my room at about 19:00 and got to the ground at about 19:20 ish and sat in the main stand. The game itself was one of the worst I have seen this season and there is very little to talk about in terms of action. The 1st half didn't show me that either of the sides could survive this season with only about 2 shots on target throughout the game. 2nd half wasn't much of an improvement and the game looked to be playing out as a 0-0 until Hartlepool broke the deadlock on about 60 mins through a scrappy goal that summed up the game. A cross came in and it bounced off about 3 players before being tapped in to make it 0-1. Chester started to get hold of the ball and put a bit of pressure on Hartlepool before getting a goal back around the 75th minute. Again, it was a scrappy goal which fell for Chester's number 9 who smacked it in the top corner. Neither side deserved to win and had no clear cut chances for the next 15 and a draw was a fair result in the end given the fact that neither side deserved to win the game. Walked back and got back to my room just after 22:00.
