This match was expunged as Aldershot went out shortly afterwards. Happily, the town has rallied and helped bring back League football. On 9th August 2008 I went to see them at Accrington in their first match back. The Accy lot made a guard of honour as Aldershot took the field  - possibly influenced by their own return from the dead. Nice gesture.
