Sphinx went 1-0 up through a stunning strike by centre forward Harkin. Sporting eventually got their game going and Brain scored with a header at the far post following a wonderful cross from the right. Smuger made two substitution and Pykett on the right changed the nature of the game. A penalty was awarded for hanball and once Gregory dispatched that, Sporting scored three more times: Jones with a header following a corner: Gregory with a left foot shot and Wills with a worldie!
