At what point did Forest become the bigger Nottingham club? I know County were in Div 1 around 1990 but since the fifties they have generally been the poor relation. A shame since all the other founder members are in the upper reaches.   - Aug 2009. Albeit another club having money stoked in, but there can be few more deserving. Older than the FA itself (to quote  - Simon Inglis) it would have been dreadful if County had slipped out of the League as they might a couple of years ago.  -
