Left home at about 19:00 and got in the car with Dad and Joseph and drove to Imperial Fields. Got into the ground at about 19:25 and sat down in the stand. 1st half was a decent half with Dulwich putting together some good football at times without really threatening until about half way through the half. East Thurrock looked solid but hardly created anything at the other end of the pitch. A mistake from the Dulwich back line about 30 mins into the game allowed Thurrock's number 9 through on goal to slot past the keeper to make it 0-1. 1st half ebbed away a bit without much action. The 2nd half, however, was incredibly entertaining with Dulwich absolutely bossing the game and playing some lovely passing football and creating numerous chances and 1 on 1s which they should have scored at least a couple. They finally equalised on about 70 mins which was thoroughly deserved from a header by their number 9. They continued to press and pin Thurrock in their final third as they had done all game and eventually scored the winner in the 94th min after cool composure from their number 14 who checked in past a Thurrock defender and placed it into the corner to win the game. Left the ground and got back in the car and got home at about 9:55. An unbelievable start to this season of football and a thoroughly deserved victory for Dulwich.
