Decided to swerve another trip to one of Tranmere''s bogey grounds in Swindon, with news coming in that we were two nil up after 13 minutes this seemed a mistake but five minutes later Harris was sent off for a reckless challenge on the halfway line and we would go on to lose 3-2. As for this game their was a nice surprise as former rovers player Matt Hill was playing for Ashton. He still looked a good player spraying the ball around but the first half was poor with Brackley having the upper hand. Miscommunication led to a mistake with Hill being taken out by one of his own players trying to clear the same ball with Brackleys striker taking full advantage and finishing the subsequent one on one. He was still game to have his photo taken before disappearing down the tunnel at halftime. Second half was much better, Ashton started to create chances but this only woke Brackley up as they hit the post before a fierce angled drive hit Hill at the back post as he could only slice it into his own net. A cutback from the byline was hit home from ten yards from an unmarked Brackley player coming in at the back. A penalty and a back post header made it five but Ashton did manage a consolation with a back post header of their own, as for Hill he took a knock about twenty minutes from the end and limped on until the end.
