Having watched Tranmere''s 1-0 win over Macclesfield the night before I was free to take in a match on non league day. I''d visited Hydes Ewan fields ground a few years ago whilst working in the area but not on a match day. Admission was half price on production of a season ticket for any league team(£5 + £1 for transfer to the stand-could have tried haggling to get that half price as well lol) Another bonus was a voucher for a pound of a pint if carling in the social club for the first 150 fans. The weather was blustery and cold but I was reminded that hyde had an artificial pitch
