Very impressive stadium for this level. Good Bank Holiday crowd.
Chesterfield had plenty of possession just outside Moors box in the 1st half, but made very few scoring opportunites. Solihull Moors, on the break, scored twice, through debutant striker Nathan Blissett, to lead 2-0 at half-time.
Moors dominated the 2nd half and went 3-0 ahead on 70 minutes with Gudger''s header. This goal provoked a pitch invasion with players retiring to the tunnel while stewards tried to clear the 80 or so invaders from the playing area. The protest appeared to be against the Chesterfield club chairman.
Some 7 minutes later, play resumed, with Moors sub Jermaine Hylton scoring a well-crafted 4th goal for Moors.
The result dropped Chesterfield into the bottom 4 and pushed Moors up to 4th in the table.
It was Moors'' first win after their unfortunate FA Cup replay defeat at Blackpool.
