Week after the delight and emotion of the last game at Highfield Road (6-2) turn into absolute dejection on the first visit to Gresty Road. After winning the week before, the City were safe from relegation but Crewe were still in the mire and needed a win and hope Gillingham slipped up in their game. remember Adebola scoring against his old club to make it 1 nil to City in the second half, but 2 late goals from Crewe sent the home fans wild as Crewe slipped up and stayed in Division 1. Went to this game with my mate from football, his dad, and my Dad. Last game of the season so was dressed up in my sky blue dyed wig, and face paint where one of the stewards compared me to a smurf when we were putting the flag up at the front of the stand.
