Comments :
It had been a bad day with my pupil failing their driving test badly in the morning. 3 serious faults on top of 20 minor faults. Another pupil was just useless on his basic junctions practice. Then I had also trodden on a dog turd whilst transferring from one side of my car to the other. I set off for Goole after a great lesson with Haydn Peacock. I hope he passes his theory soon. I had to collect my big coat, waterproof trousers and hat from dancing first and then drove through the Kentucky Fried Chicken for Chicken Tuesday 9 pieces for £6. I went to Goole via the Motorway and arrived ten minutes before kick off. I then set about eating my meal. It was disappointing that Full fat coke is no longer available. I t took a while to eat the meal so I was late getting into the ground. It was interesting listening to Dave Gibbens and Swany talking about Hull v Rotherham. They were expecting a big win. Once in I discovered that Bridlington had already scored. However Goole played quite well considering that they are bottom of the division. The ground had a running track around it, a shabby stand on one side and very little else. At half time I walked around the ground. I had forgotten my glasses so I also nipped out to my car to get them. The second half was entertaining but Goole kept fluffing any chances they got. Then Bridlington suddenly scored again. There was protest amongst the crowd as many thoughtbthe ball had been handled in the box. There was no way back for Goole now and it finished 2-0 to Bridlington. It did not take long to get home. I was still feeling bad about the test fail earlier as I got into my bed.
