Went with Dad by car but was originally suppose to go with Joe but he was too hungover from the night before. Left home at about 12:30 and drove about a mile away from the ground where we parked the car and walked to the ground. Sat in the Barry Kitchener stand in the lower tier at the back above the dugouts. The game itself was a dreadful one for the 1st 60 mins and then an entertaining last 30 mins. The 1st half was a very scrappy affair with neither side playing nice football and the quality not being the greatest. Millwall were the better side and created a few chances with one goal mouth scramble that should''ve been scored. The 2nd half was better, with Hull playing the nicer football for the first 15 mins and getting their reward through good play and a ball tapped in from the right flank which made it 0-1. Millwall then took the game by the scruff of the neck and made it an entertaining last 30 mins by constantly bombarding the Hull goal. They had a few chances before Morrison and Ferguson came on and provided the difference they were looking for. Just before they scored their 1st around the 80th minute they had a point blank shot that crashed off the bar. The equaliser came from substitute Ferguson who took a short 1-2 from a corner before running around the edge of the box and curling it into the top corner. Millwall then took the lead about 5 mins later with a wonderful free kick, again from Ferguson, who bent it round the wall into the net. Millwall went through deservedly with 2 wonderful goals from their substitute. Got back in the car with Dad and got home at about 16:30.
