| I like a trip to the Bescot. Very friendly club from the ticket office to the stewards and shop staff. Passionate supporters too, which the Saddlers definitely need this season. So on a beautiful morning I set off for Walsall, stopping off at the Hawthorns to get a few autographs. This was a serious 6 pointer for both teams who are locked in the relegation zone, with Walsall 23rd on 42 points and Southend one place higher on 43 so both were desperate for the win which may move them out of the danger area, as long as other results went their way.
