Headed to Mansfield from Notts with some mates after a few pints. The ground was quite close to the station so we headed there to buy 4 away tickets. There were a lot of Mansfield fans unable to buy tickets on the day as they had ''sold out'', despite hundreds of empty seats in the ground. The away end was on the opposite side so we had to walk all the way back round and almost missed KO. We joined the 100 or so Stevenage fans just before the game started. Mansfield fans were hoping for an automatic promotion and Stevenage had hopes of play-offs so was a good atmosphere. Mansfield started off the better side but Stevenage grew into the game and showed they wanted it more in the 2nd half. Stevenage scored a good volley after the 70th minute and were then unlucky to concede later on due to the wind. However, probably the best player of the game Chair managed to score in the final minutes of the game to give Boro a deserved win over the Stags. Thought the food and drinks prices were decent and the facilities were fine. Overall great day out enjoyed being in the away end and worth going to despite the wind and cold. One of the best games I''ve been to in a while and will probably go to Mansfield again in the future.
