Match no. 526. First visit to Southbury Road. This game was originally scheduled for Sat 12th December and that is the date on the programme. A great night at Southbury Road with Wimbledon, at that point in the 3rd Division of the Football League, on the wrong end of a giant-killing. Enfield went on to lose 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace in the 3rd round whilst Wimbledon finished 21st in Div 3 and were relegated. Enfield were in the Alliance Premier League (aka the Conference) at this time.
