I set off having finished a driving lesson I set off for Cleethorpes and arrived in good time. I needed cash so found a cash point before doubling back to the ground. There was a good parking space in a side street and then a short walk got me to the ground. I had been worried about it being all ticket but lots of us were able to pay on the gate. I took a walk around the ground and then found some seats in a small stand at the side. The first half kicked off and soon as not the match Grimsby scored. I felt our player had fouled just before the goal though. Grimsby dominated and at half time were 4-0 up. It got better in the second half 5-0 and then three more quick fire goals around the 60 minute mark. That was it though, the goals dried up and I left three minutes early. Two of the goals were curlers from the edge of the area. Wonderful to see.
