Went with Charlie. Left house in Chester at about 10:45 and walked to the railway station. Got the train to Crewe and then changed to a train to Derby. Got into Derby at about 13:25 and walked to the ground which took about 15 mins. We were sat in the corner of the stand opposite the dugouts. The game itself was a strange one with both sides looking to play good football but the final ball letting both sides down in the end. Derby took the lead after about 10 mins through a fluky O.G after a pass back to the goalkeeper which went under his foot and trickled into the back of the net. It stayed that way until HT. Luton came out in the second half as the much better side and controlled possession of the ball for the majority of the half with Derby unable to make it out of their own half most of the time. Derby doubled their lead against the run of play again with yet another lucky goal. Lawrence had the ball on the right hand side and put in a cross which swerved so much that it went in at the near post to extend Derby's lead to 2-0 around the 70th minute. Luton pushed to get back into the game but nothing came of it and Derby took the 3 points which were undeserved given that Luton were the better side for the majority of the game. We walked back to the station and got the train back to Crewe and then back to Chester, getting back home at about 20:15.
