Comments :
Went with Charlie. Left home at about 14:25 and walked to the ground getting there at about 14:45. Went in the York end behind the goal. The game itself was an entertaining affair with both sides playing very good football which is a lot better than some of the standard I've seen in the National League and League 2. Chester were the better side for the opening 20 or so minutes and moved the ball around well but didn't really have any clear cut chances. After the first 20 mins York grew into the game and started to move the ball around with pace and took control of the game but didn't take chances which meant it was 0-0 at HT. The second half was much like the end of the 1st with York having most of the ball and chances and they eventually opened the scoring around 60 mins after a bit of a scrambled which was tapped home. Chester didn't really put their foot down until the last 15 mins when they had numerous chances to equalise but couldn't find the back of the net. York managed to see the game out and took a deserved 3 points which sent them 5 points clear at the top of the table. Walked back with Charlie and got back at about 17:15.
