The ground seemed smaller from the inside than it appeared on the outside, however overall I was fairly impressed. The home fans created very little atmosphere compared to the Chelsea fans who were very loud throughout. The game itself wasn't particularly thrilling with Juan Mata scoring the only goal of the game just after the half hour mark. From then on Chelsea dominated and should/could have scored more and in the end it was a fairly comfortable 1-0 win. An enjoyable day out and a nice ground and a fitting Christmas present for my Dad who I went with.
