Comments :
Freezing cold day but not a bad match. Leamington went 2-0 up and seemed to be able to defend that lead with a degree of comfort until the referee brandished a red card to a Leamington defender for little apparent reason. Yellow might have been justified but red it was. Guiseley scored from the restart with a well-placed shot, and got another for a draw they barely deserved. Man of the match was the Brakes'' centre-forward Josh March, in spite of his annoying tendency to dive at every opportunity: scored a very good goal. The ground is a long way out of town and is surrounded by farm land. It''s small but still had a bit of atmosphere due to the closeness of the spectators to the touchlines, and the low roofs on two sides, even with a modest attendance on the day. Nice clubhouse. Friendly place. Best stewarding of a car park I''ve ever seen! As a Solihull Moors fan it was good to see George Carline and Junior English in the home line-up and Marvellous Marcus Bignot in the visitors'' dug-out.
