THis game was a sell-out for Wolves fans but as I was working in Birmingham, I popped down at lunchtime, in Wolves jacket to get a ticket for the Holte End. No problems, a few funny looks and comments in the queue but nothing else. On the evening of the match, there was much cheering in the Wolves end when Bully was named on the subs bench (he'd not been expected to be in the reckoning due to injury). Not much else to cheer about thoguh as Villa were all over us. I thought I'd got away with not being noticed on the Holte End until Mutch scored an unexpected equaliser. My hands were buried in my coat pockets but they came flying out, ripped my pockets and the cotnents went everywhere. Of coruse after that .. . the Villa fans knew ! But, they were ace, plenty of banter but great fun. The fact they re-took the elad and looked very comfortable probably helped !
