With rovers playing Sunday took a long drive South for another ground. Felt it was a mixed bag of a day, the ground has some character but is a bit of a mish mash and not one of my favourites. The locals where friendly and I treated myself to a cheese and onion roll from the clubhouse before heading inside. The club shop is inside a metal container and was impressive for this level as was the match programme. The first half was poor the hosts should have gone into the break one up but missed a sitter on the goal line as the ball somehow passed through the strikers legs instead of between the posts. Whilst the second half provided three home goals to extend the stones lead at the top of the table I had swapped sides and struggled to find a suitable view point coupled with bad eyesight and dim floodlights. Rangers for their credit had most of the possession second half but didn''t create much for debutant stones keeper to worry about although he was awarded MOM.
