Witton took the lead from the penalty spot but lairds equalised late in the half from an indirect free kick in the penalty area when a back pass from former rovers player Steve McNulty was picked up by his keeper. McNulty played the first half and showed he still had some quality in his play. A second penalty late on the second half gave the visitors the win in a game played for long periods in the rain
