Comments :
Tadcaster started brightly and a nice angled curling effort from wide outside the box flew into the top corner gave them a half time lead but things looked relatively even after that with neither keeper overly tested. Runcorn put a number of dangerous crosses into the box but no one could get on the end of them. A soft penalty brought about an equaliser and a tap in at the back post from a deep cross edged the host ahead but Tadcaster drew level with a speculative daisy cutter from the outside the box which the keeper got a hand too. At this point you might have put money on a draw but minutes later an over head kick dropped in for Runcorn and a fourth close to time with a drilled effort from the edge of the box put gloss on the win for the linnets. The Tadcaster number 4 had made some petulant challenges in the first half which led to a booking and possibly a change of direction in the game
