The new social club made a lot of difference to the look of the club since my last visit however i new a lot of the surrounding land had been sold off for houses. The programmes the club ordered failed to arrive on the night and their where a few strange things on the night the first of which was the teams warmed up on the pitch outside of the main ground. Barrton had the better of the first half vauxhall nearly scored an own goal with a header that came back off the bar but would take the lead after a shot was parried and the loose ball was fired home from the edge of the box. Vauxhalls equalised in the second half from a soft penalty and had the lions share of possession and pressure missing a header that looked odds on to score before Barton seemed to be reduced to ten men after a 50 50 challenge on the keeper the player seemed to leave his foot in but ten minutes later he was allowed back on the pitch as apparently they allow a sin bin this year in the NWCL which i was not aware of
