Whilst the walks had been on my radar this visit came out of the blue after a conversation with my mate Tony. The 12.30 kick off and the plan to have a last look at Boston Uniteds old ground meant a 6AM start and whilst it would have been nice to see their new ground as well time was against us. Having seen quite a few end of season games with nothing to play for i wasn''t expecting much from the football so watching an entertaining 4-4 draw was an added bonus. Bumped into another groundhopping Tranmere fan outside the ground. On the way home we called at Holbeach and Spalding to see as much as possible of their grounds. The former in the process of building a new clubhouse and nice to see another John King stand.
