Went in as a neutral with a slight leaning to Holywell as my mate lived there. Unfortunately the managerial team was one of those i dislike the most, from the first minute they didn''t shut up constantly barracking the officials and calling for every decision and foul even if their wasn''t one. The seagulls started by playing the best football and took the lead when a wide free kick was glanced home. Unfortunately the home side where quite physical and proceeded to kick lumps out of the visitors and it didn''t take long for the bay to start retaliating and football went out of the window in an ill tempered game. I felt sorry for the officials first half but the constant haranguing from the home bench must have got to them with some bad calls second half the most blatant right in front of me and a linesman as the home no6 shouted for non existent contact as a bay player started to lift a leg but withdrew with no challenge. A few fans near me questioned the decision with the liner and got some verbal abuse back from the defender. Halfway through the second half another nibble from a home player led to retaliation and a kick out resulting in a red card. shortly after Holywell equalised from a corner headed home and would score a deft chip winner with the keeper in no mans land. Very disappointed that the physical tactics on the pitch and the verbal diarrhoea from the bench still got the home side the result although Colwyn bay lost their way and sat deep for long periods of the second half.
