No programme as apparently theirs been a cockup. Had also considered games at cammel lairds(0-1) and Sandbach(6-0) but opted for this as it was their first time playing this level after points per game promotion and their first home game. Just before setting out bought the non league paper to find out one of their players had died the previous week apparently from suicide, very sad. Not the best game 0-0 at half time the hosts felt aggrieved after the ref awarded a fk on the edge of the box and a few seconds after blowing the whistle the ball was in the net however the Padiham players probably stopped at the whistle. The game was decided when the centre half Wilkinson curled a low shot in off the far post from 20 yards. The game was ill tempered in parts with a number of yellow cards brandished for both sides
