A nothing end of the season game for us, but a big one for the Latics who needed to win to get promoted. They had 3 games in a week but looked good for the points until Tim Steele scored an 87th minute equaliser. I can stil lsee him climbing on the security fence (rememebr them) celebrating with the fans. The night is also remembered for bumping into old mate Jamie at a service station and him giving us a lift up to the ground. Also nearly killing us by his motorway speeding !
