Went with Dad while on holiday at Kelling Heath. Left the holiday park at about 18:30 and drove down to the ground getting there at about 19:20. The ground itself is a good set up for the level that they play at with a main stand on one side of the pitch and the clubhouse/bar behind one of the goals. The game itself was an entertaining one with Norwich United being the much better side throughout the majority of the game and played some good football to go with it. They created a number of chances throughout the first half but were either let down by players straying offside or a lack of finishing from their strikers. Thetford didn't really have any chances of note in the 1st half. About 10 mins into the second half, Norwich United finally broke the deadlock and deservedly took a 1-0 lead. About 5 mins later they managed to double their lead through a corner which found its way to the back post where it was tapped in by the same goal scorer to make it 2-0. Norwich United continued to make chances and managed to put the game to bed with about 10 mins remaining after another corner was floated to the back stick where a header was dealt with by the keeper poorly and it was fumbled into the net to make it 3-0. Thetford got a goal back with about 3 mins remaining and once they went 3-0 down they started to play some nice football but it was too little too late. We drove back via Norwich City Centre and got back to Kelling Heath at about 23:00.
