One of the best games I have seen in my time watching football. Left home at 13:30 and walked to Tooting station getting the train to West Sutton. Got to the ground at about 14:30. The game itself was a fast paced game with both sides having spells within the first 20 mins. Sutton then had a dip in form for about 10 mins between 20-30 mins which Port Vale took full advantage of and took a 0-2 lead during this 10 minute spell. We then picked our game up and looked like getting a goal back which we did after Milsom''s shot was deflected in to make it 2-1 with 10 mins remaining of the first half. We then dominated the rest of the half and could''ve drawn level before HT but went in 2-1 down. The second half was as good a half as the first with us having the majority of the ball and chances but Port Vale also looking very threatening when they ventured forward. We eventually got our equaliser through an OG header from a Vale defender with 20 mins remaining. It then looked like it could only be us going onto win the game but about 10 mins later Port Vale took the lead again after poor defending from the corner but I still believed we were capable of going and getting an equaliser. Thankfully I was correct and a cross in the 87th minute was headed back across goal into the bottom corner from Will Randell and it looked like we were good enough for a point. However, in injury time we managed to win a strange free kick which was floated into the box and a scramble ensued before the ball fell to Rowe who belted it into the roof of the net to send myself and everyone else bonkers. Thankfully the game did end and we managed to win 4-3 and jump into the play off place. Got back to the station and got on the train to Streatham to go to the cinema to watch James Bond.
