Match no. 343. Ipswich appeared to score a late winner when they converted a monster fly-kick downfield by keeper Paul Cooper. However a linesman flagged to indicate that Cooper had handled the ball outside his area in completing his clearance (it must have been absolutely marginal) so from appearing to score the winner Ipswich found themselves back on level terms and having to defend a free-kick on the edge of their area! Which they managed successfully. Duncan (Spurs) and Hamilton (Ipswich) were the scorers.
