Match no. 742. Aldershot were in deep financial trouble at the time of this game and buckets were passed round the crowd for donations to help them keep going. Unfortunately they were forced to resign from the Football League shortly afterwards, failing to fulfill their fixtures. Consequently, this game was expunged from the records.
