Top verses bottom, forgone conclusion wasn''t it? Well Billericey begged to differ. Drove to the game and was impressed with the setup with the external pitches and decent programme. Dartford took an early lead when a backpass was chased down with a turn of speed by Azeez who went in for the tackle with the keeper. The ball ended up on the edge of the box and fired into an empty net. The visitors didn''t lay down and a fierce shot from the edge of the box and parried out by the keeper falling to the attacking no11 who was favourite to score but chose to set up a collegue whose shot was blocked after an extra touch. They also forced the keeper into a low save to his left before halftime. Dartford had more possession second half but couldn''t kill the game off. Around 15 minutes from the end their cause was aided when the visiting keeper was sent off, a through ball ended with the home player sandwiched between the keeper and a defender just outside the box and the ref decided the keeper was the last man stopping a goalscoring opportunity. With no reserve keeper on the bench an outfield player had to go in goal and saved the resulting free kick. The game then became more open with end to end action, Dartford hit the bar and the stand in keeper also saved a shot with his feet but Billericey also had their chances and could easily have nicked an equaliser.
