Went with Dad for what was a poor spectacle for most of the game. Left home at about 13:30 and got the bus to Mitcham and then got the 280 to Sutton Green before walking to the ground. Got to the ground at about 14:25 and went in after getting Dad''s ticket. The game itself was a tense affair with neither side really taking control of the game in the first half and both sides having one or two chances but nothing much to speak about. Second half was a better spectacle as we looked more aggressive in our play and looked to get the ball down and out wide. Had a good chance from Randell about 5-10 mins into the second half and played further up the pitch. It looked like we might be the side to potentially get the winner but a ridiculous decision to send Eastmond off for a nothing challenged changed the game and ended up having backs to the wall for the final 15 mins to try and see the game out for a point. Northampton had a few chances but overall a draw was probably a fair result. Got the 280 bus back to Mitcham and then got the 201 home getting back just before 18:00.
