Went while staying at Frances & Bernard's house for nan's birthday weekend. Walked to the Norfolk showground where I got the bus to King's Lynn. Got the bus at about 12:50 and got to King's Lynn at about 14:10 and it was about a 10 mins walk to the ground from the bus stop. The ground itself has got two impressive stands on both touchlines but behind the goal is just flat banks of open terrace. The game itself was a huge relegation battle between two sides that had to win to keep touch with the sides above them. Weymouth looked pretty clueless throughout the game and didn't really have any patterns to their play. King's Lynn were better and hit the bar within the first 5 mins before eventually taking the lead after about 25 mins through a penalty. They went in at HT 1-0 up and had one or two chances to add to their lead. Weymouth came out in the second half and had a good 10-15 mins spell where they had a few chances and set pieces to get back into the game but after about 70 mins King's Lynn doubled their lead. About 5 mins later they put the game beyond doubt and made it 3-0 and that's how it ended, King's Lynn keeping their first clean sheet of the season. Got the bus back from the train station, getting on at about 17:20 and got back to the showground at about 18:30. Got picked up by Dad and got back to Frances' at about 18:45.
