Lairds won their second semi final of the week but had to do it the hard way against higher league opponents. Lairds had a terrific shot heading into the top corner but a fantastic full length save knocked the ball out for a corner. At the other end the visitors had an effort headed off the line before taking the lead with a hooked shot from close range Needham beating his defender to the cross. For the remainder of the half they would have the majority of possession but lairds were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box which couldn''t have been any closer to being a penalty. Spoke to Zevons dad and his mate before swapping ends. Lairds came out fighting and a long range daisy cutter from Hamm levelled the scores. Six minutes later the same player doubled the lead from the penalty spot with the keeper lucky not to see red for the foul on the edge of the box. Lairds also hit the top of the crossbar from 35 yards after a loose clearance from the keeper outside his box. The game started to have a bit of niggle and an awful up and under misplaced clearance into his home box led to the equaliser with the initial shot blocked on the line before the rebound was fired home by Jones-Griffiths. The game looked destined to go to a penalty shoot out but Stephens headed home a free kick five minutes from the end of normal time to give the cammels victory.
