Comments :
Went for a groundhopping trip on bank holiday Monday. Left home at about 13:00 and got the bus to Tooting Broadway station before getting to tube up to Seven Sisters from where I got the overground train to Theobalds Grove station. The ground was about 10 mins away from the station. The ground was one which you could tell the club had had two promotions in quick succession as there was very little to it apart from two seated stands and two very small covered terraces at each end. The game itself was quite a good one with Braintree absolutely dominating the game and bar the first five minutes Cheshunt looking completely out of their depth. By the 17 minute mark Braintree were 3-0 up and Cheshunt offered very little to get back into the game. Had Barry Gardiner standing next to me for the first half as his son was playing CM for Cheshunt. The second half was one were Cheshunt tried to get themselves back into the game but didn't have much luck with Braintree adding two more goals before the 75th minute to make it 0-5 which was how it ended. Got back to the station and took the same route home getting back at about 18:15.
