Original programme reused for this rearranged game. 2,342 Tranmere fans left disappointed by a below par performance. Give some credit to Oldham who''s work rate and desire was right up there and they took their chances whilst some nice interplay through the thirds never had an end product for the superwhites and considering how strong our bench was I was surprised mickey didn''t implement more changes. This result was always on the cards as despite our great run of form the cards were stacked in our favour for the original date with the departure of Scholes in the build up and baxter''s suspension, when the weather claimed the tie you just new what would happen. Once again the officials erratic performance stood out when ellis was aggresivley flattened seeing the ball out of play resulted in a free kick when a card was more than justified compared to ridehalgh being booked for pushing their player out of play with far less force (even staying on his feet) The vocal support for rovers was impressive with loud renditions of tequila amongst others but it was disappointing not to hear the full volume that would of rocked the ground to the rafters if we had found a win
