Left Shrewsbury at 08:19 and, despite train cancellations, arrived at West Sutton just after 13:00. The return journey took about four-and-a-half hours, again due the train cancellations/delays, and arrived home just after 21:30. Never saw any goals but enjoyed the game, bought a new badge and ticked off the home of Sutton United as the 91st ground seen for the season. I''m off the Harrogate Town next week to tick my 92nd ground for the season.

Left home just after 13:30 and walked to Tooting Station to get the 280 bus to Sutton. Arrived at about 14:30 and stood in the shade on the curved terrace as the weather was very hot. The game itself was a decent one with us being the better side and having the majority of chances throughout the game. Charlton had one chance of note just before HT when Charlie Kirk cut inside and had a shot on target that was saved by House. Apart from that we were the much better side and looked solid throughout the game and in the last 15 mins created a number of chances that we should''ve taken to win the game. A decent 0-0 and a good test ahead of the new season. Walked back to the bus stop and got the 280 back to Mitcham before getting the 201 home, getting back at about 17:45.
