Comments :
Went with Joe for a friendly with a difference. Left home at about 13:45 and walked to Streatham Station before getting the train to East Dulwich. Met Joe at the ground at about 14:40. The game itself was a friendly between two left wing clubs, with Altona playing in the 5th tier of the German pyramid. The game itself was a fairly good one, with Altona being the better side in the first half and playing it around well. There were a few chances for either side with Altona having the better efforts from set pieces but it was 0-0 at HT. Dulwich were arguably the better side in the second half but Altona took the lead about 10 mins into the second half after their striker poked home a 1 on 1. Dulwich managed to equalise about 10 mins later from a set piece and baring a few Dulwich chances looked like it was going to end in a draw before the Dulwich keeper spilled a shot from the edge of the box that the Altona striker tapped in with about 10 mins left giving them the 2-1 win. Got the train back from East Dulwich to Streatham after the game getting back at about 17:45.
