Comments :
First day of the season and one of the best performances from us for a very long time. Left home at about 13:30 and walked to the end of the road to get a 127 into Mitcham. Got on a 280 bus to the ground and arrived at about 14:15. Once we arrived the heavens opened up and it absolutely chucked it down for about 1 hr. Within the first two minutes of the game we took the lead through a Kizzi header at the back post from a corner. Omari Patrick doubled our lead after about 30 mins through a lovely worked goal and between these two the Notts County goalkeeper had been sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity. We added a third about 5 mins into the second half with a Patrick header at the back post. Beautyman added a 4th on the hour mark before McGoldrick added a consolation on 70 mins. The comeback was put to bed about 10 mins later after Smith added a 5th and final goal to round off an outstanding game. Got the bus back to Mitcham and then the 127 home getting back at about 18:00.
