Fairly even first half the hosts were thwarted with the away keeper saving a one on one but got revenge with a similiar effort put through the keepers legs (lomax 21). Thought fc equalised with a powerful drive but it was side netting before what looked a stone wall foul on the edge of the box was waved away. On the stroke of halftime(might have been the last kick) fc where awarded a penalty but the home keeper saved to his left. The visitors began the second half well peppering the goal with shots but pilks went 2 up on the counter as an attack was only half cleared and a low cross was hit hone from six yards(lomax 67). Sean doyle pulled one back with a customary header(74) but Severino restored the 2 goal cushion three minutes later (77) with a similiar finish as their second. FC kept plugging away but couldn''t beat the home keeper who won a few corners themselves near the end. FC will feel they deserved a point but pilks leaped over them in the table on the night
