Went with Eve having walked from Whitstable to Herne Bay. Arrived at the ground at about 14:20. The game itself was a fairly frantic one with neither side really gaining control in the first 20 mins or so before Sittingbourne opened the scoring after about 30 mins. The game was fairly entertaining after the goal with both sides having chances but Sittingbourne eventually doubled their lead on the hour mark through a penalty which saw a Herne Bay defender sent off after denying a goal scoring opportunity. Herne Bay pushed but didn't make the most of the chances they had and Sittingbourne wrapped it up with about 10 mins to go after a lovely freekick. Walked back to the train station and got to our apartment just after 18:00.
