Walking wkd in Lllangollen with a trip to Wrexham thrown in. Took me half a season to get a tkt - no chance in home end so was in away end sat with 1000+ Wombles. Wrexham (now a City) has had a bad press I think - it was better than I expected and the people were very friendly. Visited Miners Rescue Museum/Cafe before match - very good indeed. M met her U3A friend and I went to Turf Tavern and the match. Decent game - Wimbledon dominated early and had some great chances throughout match but their finishing was dreadful. Wrexham started slow but gradually built momentum and took their chances when they came. Enjoyed being with Wombles - they have some great banter/songs. MK is full of sh1t apparently + Wrexham have sold their club to Mickey Mouse!!! Very amusing. Back up to 92 again - till next season that is!!
