Comments :
New signing centre back had to be subbed after two minutes after a shove in the back whilst running. Fylde were by far the best side first half although the opening goal was controversial as all the Tranmere fans behind the goal thought the cross had gone out before the finish. The lead was doubled in added time when the ref allowed advantage after a foul and a low finish across goal from the left. The opening seconds of the second half looked like tranmere had been rollocked but in the ensuing counter another fine low finish made it three. Signs of improvement were heightened when Fylde made wholesale changes on the hour with a few from rovers who then dominated the last half hour. Dennis pulled one back beating the keeper from close range. Norman cut in from the flank and fired low under the replacement keepers body. we also hit the bar before fortune favoured us as we grabbed an equaliser from a very offside looking position through Dennis''s second.
