This game will be remembered for Rovers quick thinking and enterpreneurship having ordered a batch of Tranmere torches for this re-arranged game after the original game was abandoned due to floodlight failure with rovers winning 2-1. I can''t remember but don''t think they were free but sold on the coach trip down the worst part was we hadn''t the organisation to arrange to switch them on the 50 minute mark which would have signified the time the lights failed instead the odd flash here and there probably didnt produce the desired effect. Inevetably justice wasn''t done on the pitch either and the superb performance from the original game couldn''t be replicated aldridge Swindons chief tormentor was missing through injury and we lost with a wimper 0-2.
