Match no. 698. Goals from Colin Pascoe and Peter Davenport put Sunderland 2-0 up at half-time but 2 goals in 9 minutes by sub Paul Walsh just after the hour pulled things level. Another goal from Pascoe regained the lead for Sunderland with 15 minutes to go but Lineker rescued a point for Spurs in the last minute. An entertaining game.
