Had never seen either team before but fancied seeing an FA Cup tie, The ground was OK for the level Bedworth play at. Just one stand with seats in with no backs. Good elevation and view from there. Pre-match music included an old Jefferson Airplane track!!. Well done for playing that. Atherstone were just a bit better than Bedworth throughout the game. They looked fitter and were cannier, i.e. they were good at Winning free-kicks. Divers in chief were numbers 9 and 10. Number 9 was rewarded for an outrageous belly-flop dive with a penalty award!! 1-0 to the visitors. Number 10 managed to get someone sent off by play-acting. Job done. Very disappointing to see this level of chicanery so far down the leagues. Don't recall any diving by any Bedworth player, but sportsmanship did not win the day on this occasion.
